Last Day Of 2nd Grade!

Finally my sons dream has come true...... Its vacation time for him and now with my new job we get to spend a lot more time together. This summer its going to be the best summer ever!!!!!!
During his last week of school we got to enjoy his 2nd grade field day. A day full of activities, a day to capture memories. I am extremely proud of what Andy has accomplished throughout this school year. It has been an amazing experience seeing him grow and mature. I honestly cannot wait to see what the future holds for us!!!

The biggest part of my life!

Most of my weekends involve going to church. I go to church Saturdays and Sundays and no I don't get tired of it. God its the biggest part of my life so I try to dedicate as much part of my life as possible. This  is what I wore Saturday night.

 

TGIF!!

It is finally Friday!!!,, and after dropping my son of at school I made my daily green smoothie. Today I mixed spinach, apple, strawberries and flax seeds. I was out of bananas and for some reason I always like bananas in my smoothies I just think it makes it smoother, and I absolutely love the taste.

 

On another note the other day I went out on a ride around the island and found this spot..... soooo beautiful!

 

It is Just The Beggining!!!

Hello there fellow bloggers, it has been a while since my last post and since then a lot has changed. I got a job!!!! you wont believe how exciting it is to finally work again. I've been working for a about 2-3 weeks now and I am enjoying it. I am so grateful for everything that is going on, I'm so happy. 
 On another note I want to create more material for this blog make it a little more entertaining. One of the main reasons why I created this blog is because I enjoy writing. I enjoy chatting down my experiences and adventures, more so capturing memories. So,,,,, there is a lot more to come......

A Little Motivation

This morning my son woke me up extra early only because he was craving a spinach omelette. I cannot complaint about that, recently we have been trying to eat a little more healthy, little by little I know we will make progress and in route to a healthier lifestyle.

Lately I have been feeling a little down, I had to pull out one of my favorite motivational books. 

As I opened the book my eyes gravitated towards a phrase that i had highlighted previously. "To obtain a different result, you must do something different". My Pastor is always saying this and for some reason it always manages to go thru one ear and escape from the other. Its such a vital piece of information if you act upon it. Therefor I've decided to challenge myself. I have decided that starting today I will drink at least 60oz. of water daily. I know it may not seem like a big deal but for me it has been really hard to break the habit of not drinking enough water.

 I have also decided to revamp some of my old clothes. Over the past few years I accumulated so many pieces that I'm unable to wear due to size or just things that went out of style. So today I started with some modification to an old pair of bell bottoms jeans and turned them in to skinny jeans. 

  

Patiently Waiting...

I am currently looking for job, I have been applying to jobs online and luckily today I had an interview. It went really good, now just patiently waiting on the response. I have been without a job for a couple of weeks now, and even thou it gives me more time to spend with my son, I am anxiously waiting to start on a new job.

Regardless of my employment status I am feeling very happy, very greatful not only because I had a job interview today but also because I am healthy, my son is nice and healthy and to me that's what matters the most. So today I put on the brightest lipstick I own and went out with mom to rock the world.  

We actually just went to the fabric store(I kind of want to start making my own clothes) and we also stop by a thrift store on our way back home.
